DIGITAL VS. FILM

When it comes to capturing fleeting moments in the dynamic, fast-moving environment
of a wedding, digital cameras simply can't be beat for reliability and precision.

That said, we share the love so many have for the nostalgic quality that film brings to
wedding imagery. When we began our photography journey, it was only film. But back
then, we didn’t shoot weddings.

To incorporate this aesthetic into your day, we carry compact point-and-shoot film cameras
alongside our digital gear. These lightweight cameras—a Contax T2 and an Olympus MJU II—
are easy to slip into our kit without adding bulk or slowing us down.

What makes point-and-shoot film cameras special is their beautifully imperfect nature.
The slight unpredictability, the grain, the way light falls—these happy accidents create images
with a timeless, organic feel that digital can't quite replicate.

Sometimes this means exposures that are dark, or too bright. Sometimes it is a light leak. Sometimes
it’s out of focus, or focuses on the wrong thing. But…. this is what makes it fun and brilliant.

Film is an add-on to any wedding package.
