A perfectly lovely Spring Sunday got even lovelier with Jennifer and Barron and Pedro (their beautiful Golden Retriever!). We walked the grounds of Wilderstein Historic Site in Rhinebeck late in the afternoon. I can’t wait until the end of summer to photograph their wedding in Connecticut.

Ashley and Alex are fun and very cute. I had a great time during our brief engagement session in the morning before they drove to Mohonk Mountain House for their tasting.

Rodney and Michael and I spent an afternoon at their property in Westchester. What a beautiful sweet couple. I look forward to photographing their wedding later in the summer. On this day, we did an engagement session taking full advantage of Spring’s first feel-like-Spring-is-in-the-air day!

Soon it will be Spring.
Poor Tracey and Jeremy had to suffer frigid winds when we went out for their mini-engagement session. Their wedding is at the end of March (keeping fingers crossed it will be warmer!) so they know it won’t be “warm” but on this Saturday it was friggin’ freezing. But they are both troopers and we got a few lovely photos before retreating indoors.

I photographed Sara and Gary’s engagement session on a recent Saturday in the freezing cold at Poet’s Walk outside of Rhinebeck. What a wonderful, fun and loving couple. I look forward to their wedding in August.

We met on the foggiest of days, mid-winter in Rhinebeck, New York for a fun, albeit cold engagement session.
S and G are an interesting and talented couple. He’s an illustrator and she’s a writer. I know their Spring wedding promises a unique and fun time.
Like most engagement sessions, this one was done to get comfortable with my couple and for them to get comfortable with me before the big day. We spend a couple of hours floating from location to location basically warming up to each other and to the camera. After all, it isn’t every day that you are in front of a camera all day (your wedding day!) so isn’t it worth the time to do a short test run?

Stephanie and Mike drove to the Hudson Valley from Boston the day before their wedding. We hadn’t met. So we decide to meet up at the beautiful Montgomery Place on River Road for a quick photo session so everyone would be at ease on their wedding day.
