Photographer, occasional woodworker, inspired by music, good light, and you.

I have been photographing weddings for over 15 years, bringing together a background in filmmaking and art direction.

Nominated as one of the top 100 wedding photographers in the USA by Brandsmasher, my work has been featured in such publications as Brides Magazine, New York Magazine, Manhattan Bride, Out Magazine, Carats & Cake, Junebug Weddings, Style Me Pretty, and the New York Times.  

My LGTBQ+ weddings have been recognized in Out Magazine, New York Magazine, Bride Magazine, and the New York Times, as well as in the best-selling books; The New Art of Capturing Love: The Essential Guide to Lesbian and Gay Wedding Photography and Capturing Love: The Art of Lesbian & Gay Wedding Photography, both available on Amazon.   

I live in Rhinebeck, New York with my wife and dog on 3 beautiful acres.

Photography begins with listening, seeing, interacting and observing the world around us.  It is not different at a wedding.  I will hear you.  See you.  Interact when needed.  And, yes, observe you and your family and friends throughout the day.

I will photograph your wedding with integrity and authenticity, creating artful, classic, photojournalistic images.

We know, nobody likes to spend hours posing for photos.
We hold true; more love, less pose.   

But hey, it's a wedding day, so for most couples that means some time will be spent doing some family groupings and some portraits of the two of you.  We work hard to make sure that time is fun and that you look completely stylish. 

Most of the day, we are in documentary mode.  There to capture all the important moments from getting ready to last dance.
